SDANF

The SDANF is the sub-directorate for access to French nationality. It belongs to the Directorate General for Foreign Nationals in France (DGEF) at the Ministry of the Interior, and the DGEF organisation chart places it in Rezé, in Loire-Atlantique.

It processes naturalization and reintegration applications centrally, after the local stage at the prefecture, and prepares the decrees for signature. The ministerial number assigned to your file during that stage is the one that later appears in the decrees published in the Journal Officiel.
