Terms of sale

These terms of sale govern the sale of the AlertJO email alert to a consumer. Searching a ministerial number in decrees already published stays free and is not covered by a sales contract.

1. Seller

The service is sold by Mohamad AL-KHATIB, sole trader (entrepreneur individuel, EI), trading as MK-Web, 4 Mail des Petits Clos, 28000 Chartres, France. SIRET 93179152900015, VAT number FR81931791529.

Contact: support@alertjo.fr, phone +33 6 46 77 78 04. Full publisher details are on the Legal notice page.

AlertJO is an independent service, not affiliated with the French Ministry of the Interior, the French nationality sub-directorate (SDANF) or any prefecture.

2. What the service does

The AlertJO email alert monitors naturalization decrees published in the Journal Officiel de la République française (JORF) and emails you when the ministerial number (REZE) linked to your account appears in a published decree.

Detection uses the ministerial number together with the first and last name on your account, as they appear in the published decree. Monitoring covers JORF issues published after your order; the free search covers the 548 issues already analysed since January 20, 2016.

  • Included: analysis of every JORF issue containing a naturalization decree, and an email as soon as your number is detected in one.
  • Not included: no dealings with the administration on your behalf, no case follow-up, no legal advice, and no influence over the publication date or the outcome of your naturalization application.

3. How long the alert lasts

The alert starts as soon as payment is confirmed. It stays active with no expiry date, and with no renewal or recurring charge, until the email announcing the publication of your decree is sent.

You can end it at any time by deleting your account from the Deleting your data page: the alert then stops immediately.

4. Price and payment

The email alert costs 14,99 € including tax, as a one-off payment. There is no subscription, no automatic renewal and no extra fee.

The price is net of tax: AlertJO is under the French small-business VAT franchise, and its invoices carry the statutory notice « TVA non applicable, article 293 B du CGI ».

Payment is made online by card at the time of the order, through our payment provider Stripe. No card data passes through or is stored on our servers.

An invoice is issued for every order and emailed to you.

5. Performance of the contract

By placing your order you expressly request that monitoring begin immediately, without waiting for the end of the fourteen-day withdrawal period.

Monitoring starts as soon as the payment provider confirms the payment.

6. Right of withdrawal

As a consumer you have fourteen days from the conclusion of the contract to withdraw, without giving a reason (article L221-18 of the French Consumer Code). To exercise it, write to support@alertjo.fr.

Because you asked for immediate performance, if you withdraw after monitoring has started, an amount matching the service already provided may be retained, in proportion to the total agreed price (article L221-25 of the French Consumer Code).

The right of withdrawal can no longer be exercised once the service has been fully performed before the end of the fourteen-day period, that is, once the email announcing the publication of your decree has been sent; you expressly acknowledge this when placing the order (article L221-28, 1° of the French Consumer Code).

7. Refunds and support

Any withdrawal or refund request should be sent to support@alertjo.fr. A refund due is paid back to the payment method used for the order, within fourteen days of receiving your request.

If a technical failure on our side prevented the alert from being sent while your number did appear in a published decree, the price paid is refunded in full on request.

8. Liability

AlertJO does not publish the Journal Officiel and controls neither its content, nor its publication date, nor its availability. The service depends on decrees being published by the DILA on Légifrance.

We use reasonable means to detect your number as soon as an issue is published, without guaranteeing a result: a reading error on the published document, a Légifrance outage, an invalid email address or filtering by your mail provider can delay or prevent the notification. We recommend also checking your ANEF account and the JORF.

AlertJO's liability is in any event limited to the amount paid for the alert.

9. Personal data

The data processed to sell and run the alert, how long it is kept and your rights are described in the privacy policy.

10. Applicable law and complaints

These terms are governed by French law. Any complaint should first be sent to support@alertjo.fr; we answer as quickly as we can.

Failing an amicable settlement, the dispute may be brought before the competent French court.
