REI

REI is one of the three-letter codes attached to each person in the nominative extract published in the Journal Officiel. No official source publishes the list of these codes, so we limit ourselves to counting the people who carry each one, in the decrees already analysed.

Reintegration into French nationality is itself an identified procedure: service-public.gouv.fr mentions it alongside naturalization, in the same online application service, as a separate step. The page does not explain the difference between the two.

According to service-public.gouv.fr, both procedures go through the same online service, titled “Demande en ligne de naturalisation française ou de réintégration dans la nationalité française”.
